What Will My Kids Think?

Considering the majority of our clients are women, it's a safe assumption to say many of our clients have kids!

Our clientele ranges from as young as 19 up to women in their 70s and beyond (yes, our oldest client to date was in her mid 70s!!). We see clients who are new mothers, some who are grandmothers, and even great grandmothers! It's actually really fun when we get the opportunity to photograph multiple generations (client, client's mom, client's grandma - yes we have done this too!).

Some mothers are worried about what their kids might think about their boudoir images. Whether you have an album somewhere, display images on your dresser, or wall art on your walls. I wanted to offer you a little bit of insight as to how to navigate this if you foresee this being an issue in your household.

The first thing I want you to know is that we can create a wide variety of images for your session. Not every outfit or pose has to be super provocative. In fact, if you really take a minute to review our website and social media sites, you'll notice that our work is generally pretty tame. You may find a few more nudes on our website than anywhere else because that is the only platform we are able to safely share them, but overall I would rate our work PG-13. We don't photograph or show any "party parts" in your downstairs region. So if you want to display images at your home that are more 'family friendly,' we will have plenty of options from your session to choose from!!

If you do want to display more provocative images in your home, it is YOUR home! You decide what is best for your family and how you want to discuss that with your children. Plenty of my clients tell me their bedroom is "off limits" to their kids, or that their family is comfortable with nudity.

I think conversations about body love and confidence at a young age can be healthy and important! Nudity does not equal sex, the human body is normal and natural, and we all have the same parts under our clothes.

However you choose to navigate this in your house is up to you, but if there is anything we can do to help please don't hesitate to reach out! We are always happy to jump on a no-obligation phone consultation, just click HERE to schedule!
